Artemis is what happens when unshakable optimism, a caffeine dependency, and a deeply unhealthy fascination with fantasies are rolled into a single redhead and deposited into an experimental academy for the weird and possibly doomed.

She proudly calls herself a “veteran” of E.R.A.—a title she awarded herself after approximately three weeks. No one has bothered to contest this, mostly because Artemis speaks with such conviction that arguing feels pointless.

Originally from Sacramento, a city so profoundly average that local paranormal activity (a.k.a, herself) tends to die of boredom, Artemis leapt at the chance to join an institution filled with anomalies, to her, this is the exciting part of her life, the bit where things happen and she’s finally allowed to feel like the main character.

When not somehow working every job in ERA’s shopping district, Artemis could be found knee-deep in the latest happening in campus and eager to tell you all about it.

Any object thrown by Artemis will hit it’s target, no matter what: reality be damned. The stars align each time Artemis makes a throw, ensuring perfect luck for it to connect.

Fail-Not only functions on objects physically throw by Artemis, i.e: no guns. While Fail-Not ensures the shot will hit its target, it doesn’t ensure when. The more unlikely a throw is, the longer it will take to connect. In the most extreme cases, it would longer than her own lifespan—but it will hit eventually, as long as it’s before the heat death of the universe.
