Claude is an ERA operative with a rather enigmatic past. Despite his cloudy history, he often insists that he’s just here to “do a little bit of good,” albeit, very casually. Claude, according to his peers, is who one might call charming, easy-going, and a wild card. While his mannerisms seem straightforward, there are many who suspect more than what meets the eye. Furthermore, Claude often does not take things seriously and views life as simply a cloud blowing through the wind, often joking around and teasing his cohorts. He is so casual with his work environment to the point where he often leaves the collar of his uniform unbuttoned and his tie is often loosely hanging from said collar, much to his superior’s displeasure. Along with his casualness, he often drinks with his friends and goes onto immature antics such as pranking his coworkers for the sake of fun.

Don’t let his charismatic demeanor fool you, however. Behind that unassuming exterior, lies a person skilled at interrogation and espionage. The agent is highly perceptive and often looks for opportunities to gain information, should his adversary slip up. These skills alone are a cause for concern for some of his peers, as it harbors distrust. Strangely, Claude shows a reluctance to use lethal force on a suspect, as he would only pull out a gun for the sole purpose of psychological deterrence. Never has he been seen firing a gun, with the exception of the shooting range. Whether he is either too afraid to fire or he is compassionate towards his adversaries is up to interpretation.

Exacerbating his already unpredictable nature, Claude is able to “split” from himself and create identical clones of himself. Notably, each clone encapsulates different parts of the host’s personalities. One might be overtly optimistic, while the other might be extremely inquisitive, for example. Despite that however, not only are the personalities split between each clone, but their intellectual abilities will also be diminished further each time, and if pushed further, will render additional clones having severe mental disabilities and brain death. Allegedly, Claude recalled that he found out about his powers after learning about the “complications” his mother was having during birth.

“Well, I guess you could say that the doc didn’t expect to see the three musketeers!”

Not much is known about the agent’s past. Much of the information collected are his basic records such as his credentials and identification. Glimpses of Claude’s past are only spoken through his own vague oral narratives.

Claude described himself as a bit of a “troublemaker” when he was far younger, and believed that he “didn’t fall too far from the tree” in regards to his father. Life was rough and he had to “borrow” some “unwanted” belongings ranging from a woman’s purse to “a friendly visit to a neighbor’s house”, according to him. He then states that after high school, he was well off and “turned his life around.”
