Cyra Sodhi is a four armed wasp therian born in India but raised in Canada. Her family moved there when she was about three years old which is when her electi ability manifested and she burned down the family house. Thankfully her parents had insurance. From then on, life was difficult for Cyra and anyone who had to be around the bug. Cyra lives in constant fear of hurting others or causing major catastrophes everywhere she goes due to the uncontrollable nature of her ability.

Her father, luckily, was an handyman and turned an old lantern into a safe helmet for Cyra to wear, and as his daughter ages, so did the craftsmanship of the helmet. Her current one is the 10th version. This helmet allowed her to focus on her studies safely and Cyra graduated from college with a Bachelors in Linguistics and an EMT certification she was required to have by the college board.

After a career as a translator and a Hindi teacher at a local college, ERA received word of Cyra after an incident left a section of the college in need of repair from a fire outbreak. Cyra was blamed and quickly fired once news hit the front pages of the newspaper. With the promise of decent pay and a job, Cyra quickly took the job and ERA put the nervous woman to good use as both an English teacher, and a member of the Environmental Hazard Unit. While she’s still a shy, emotional wreck, being around others like her and her commanding officer Fynn has been a much needed change of pace from her old life. Her parents are very proud of their daughter.

Cyra is one of the specialists on the EH Unit. While her commanding officer Fynn often heads operations she assists in coordinating and ensuring the EH Unit successfully protects students from any natural or magical disasters that may fall upon the campus. This duty ranges from relaying information on weather conditions to the other departments of ERA to fighting wildfires/ campus floods.

Cyra’s Electi ability causes her head to constantly be on fire. That’s it. That’s her entire power. Sure it also makes her head immune to fire but like that’s about it.

A resistance to heat and cold environments also comes with the power but are not caused by the ability. It’s literally just that her head is on fire. If it gets put out the fire springs back up once her head’s dry enough.
