If you’re looking for jokesters, this is probably your guy. Hugo is an energetic artist with talent for drawing and making music with his trusted guitar. He comes from living in the slums of his hometown, and tries to be positive in the harshest of living conditions with his loving parents. Once hearing wind of and heading into ERA, he opened his imagination up to new possibilities and the overall magic of being an electi. How bad could it be?

He’s known for trying to make people smile on campus, even to his own detrimine. He takes pride in being part of the on campus band Collateral damage, being its number 1, and perhaps their only biggest fan. He tends to speak his mind and try to make situations less stressful through being comedic and genuine. Despite tripping over his own feet at times, he tries to mean well and play serious when things turn for the worst. Overall, he’s mostly here to have a good time.

Hugo’s persistence has been his key element throughout ERA, no matter the situation, he always bounces back. Being a student at ERA hasn’t treated him kindly as reocurring problems would spawn from either him or his circumstances. Starting off at ERA, he had to understand new feelings of being left out of a click or home, all while dealing with harsh dreams persuaded by an outsiders electi abilities that made them vivid and monster like. Even after, his feats have had him tailgated by ERA police in a casino cover up, kidnapped by underground groups to be tortured, and surviving the Karen reign that was the Rockathon. His biggest challenge has been staying relevant and kind to the friends he admires, he’ll go to the moon and back for others who would go 2 feet tops. While this boy means well, his determination and positivity can only get him so far, who knows when he’ll eventually break.

Hugo has the gift of summoning light blue strings from the palms of his hands, acting like extra ligaments for him to manipulate to his imagination. The strings have a strong durability and muscle to them, able to withstand and carry mediate amounts of weight to them, including the boy himself. Whether it’s using strings to seep through cracks, or grabbing things in the room from afar, the strings allow for fluent movement and impacted springy muscular power.

However, the strings have a limit to about 4 yards before becoming hooked in the boys body, as well as causing fatigue. The strings can be severed by sharp ends of blades, becoming damaged before needing to regenerate slowly and painfully, any severed string will lose its glowish light blue color and mobility, but will keep a good grip if used as normal rope. No matter the situation, Hugo can depend on finding new ways to use his silly strings
