Ray has lived his life as a normal human up until recently, believing his Electi ability to be nothing but a “mysterious condition” that he has had his entire life, as his moms raised him to believe in keeping their kids close to them. Due to him being hidden by his parents for the majority of his life, Ray outwardly seems rather timid, but his online personality is far from it. This new experience– the academy, the ability to interact with other people in real life, and also coming to terms with his condition being an Electi ability– is just a tad overwhelming for him.

Ray’s ability, or rather inability is that his lungs cannot process the Earth’s air. However, his lungs adjust to other substances such as water or other gasses, making him able to breathe underwater or harmful fumes as if it was oxygen with no harm to his body. Technically, he can breathe anything that can go through his lungs and out of them, liquid and gas.
