With a personality as rugged as his looks, Xander Pierce was not one of the friendlier faces to run into in the academy. While his outward appearance is partially up to him playing it up (using makeup to look more tired than he really was, for example), Xander was still not someone you’d like to mess with, having had a rough childhood and actively participating in an underground fight club.

Underneath the prickly exterior, however, Xander tried to avoid starting confrontations with people unless necessary and was a man of his word to his friends.

Xander’s ability manifests in the form of limited pyrokinesis, being able to set parts of his body on fire at will. By extension, he’s also able to withstand and tolerate fire better than most.

Thanks to a specialized clothing brand he purchases from, this does not result in his clothes being destroyed on every use.
