Jesse and Lucas walked along a less traveled path through the garden, an event kickstarted by the Valentine’s Day date they had the pleasure of attending together. The two had decided to become closer after said fiasco, not even the laxatives were enough to spoil the bond they had made. A lone rock laid on the path, and was met with a sharp kick from a steel-toed boot. It soared through the air, higher and higher, until it hit deep into the leaves of a tree.
“Nice kick.” Lucas smiled over towards the red head, for once he actually looked well rested and happy. On top of that, his clothing no longer looked as if he had spent a week living in a pile of soaking wet autumn leaves. It was a miracle.
“Nothin’ to it, heh.” Jesse smiled back, tipping her hat forward as the two walked onward. From the leaves of the tree that Jesse hit, a small yellow fruit had fallen onto the ground. It was a lemon.
“You know what else is nice?” Lucas grinned.
Jesse looked at the lemon. “That we got a free snack?” She looked towards him.
“No…..you….”
In an instant the two were locked in each other’s lips, Lucas having made his move on the frontier girl. Instead of a bullet in his head, what he got was Jesse’s heart. She kissed him back with just as much passion, as if she had found the love of her life. Hands began to grope places hands shouldn’t normally grope as the two made love out in the open for all to see. God you should have been there, it got intense. After what seemed like hours of just making out Jesse’s lips parted ways with Lucas, a sharp toothed smile on her face as their saliva made a connection between them even though their lips were apart.
“God you’re sexy for a city slicker….too bad that lemon grew legs and arms. Woulda been a real nice man to take home to mama.” Jesse patted Lucas on the shoulder, looking above him at something that even his omnipotence had failed to pick up on.
“Wait….what?” He turned around
Standing behind him was 180 pounds of pure unadulterated citric acid. One lemony eye stared down at Lucas as the Lord of Lemons took a six shooter and shot him right in the face. Lucas felt the world slip away from him more and more and more, the void ready to consume his soul at last. And then he woke up.
Lucas laid wide eyed in his dark dorm room, nothing but the sound of snoring coming from Kai’s bed could be heard. He looked pissed.
“Fuck you Pearl.” Was all he said before drifting back to sleep.
