Joan is a pink lion from Brooklyn with an Egyptian heritage and a thick skin. Growing up different in every way, he learned early on to tune out the stares and keep his signature lazy grin intact—even after discovering he was an Electi.

Textbook Fat Cat, Joan is laid back, a bit of a smartass and usually seen lounging more than laboring. Surprisingly, he’s a respected officer in ERA’s guard force, running communications and logistics unlike anyone. When he cares, he really cares. But don’t expect him to stand up unless it’s really important.

Joan can spout a thick, black smoke from every orifice of his body. While he can bear smoke more than others would, too much of it and he would cough up like anyone else. He avoids using his powers unless absolutely neccasry, citing it as “smoking without the fun part.”
